It took us almost exactly 48 hours from anchor up in Luperon to anchor down in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. We have much to say about the trip but to be honest, are still a bit “boat lagged.” We also need to get ourselves squared away so that we can be at the customs office here in just over an hour. Our intention, following clearing customs, is to then make way for Boqueron which is only 10 miles down the coast. THEN it will be celebration, and of course, blog updating time.

No matter how much you check the weather, you never really know what Mother Nature has in store for you when you’re out on the water.

Beautiful photo. Does it really feel like you’ve been on the water 253 days???

    • 253 days? You know, we never really think about that any more. I guess when it gets to be a year I’ll think it’s a pretty big milestone.
