A clean boat is a happy boat
Apparently it’s boat cleaning time, and from what I am reading, there seems to be a whole lot more involved in some people’s views than I would have thought. The latest issue of Cruising World has an article titled A lazy Man’s Guide To Gleaming Topsides. The Sailnet Forum has a very detailed thread on the specifics for Polishing and Waxing your boat. Even the guy who did our shrink wrapping was telling us about all of the jobs he has booked to wax people’s boats this season. And here I thought all I was going to have to do was get a hose, bucket and some boat soap to do a good job. 🙁
I wonder if I could entice some of our friends down to help if I told them the boat wash team would look like this?
