STCW 95 Day 1: The theory of fire
The Theory of Fire was the focus of day one’s STCW 95 classwork. We learned about what allows fires to begin and continue burning, as well as how to use the various tools to extinguish them (in theory anyway). Heather, our class instructor, also prepped us for the practical part of the fire fighting which will take place today. I’m not so sure the 4-5 guys in the class with beards were all that happy when they were told that they would have to shave them off before this morning!
Didn’t they know what they were getting into ???

I doubt your course has anything like this but it looks pretty cool.
I wonder what the active ingredient(s) is in that. It looks quit effective. I also wonder if it is toxic.
