Pull my tube!
While yesterday morning was spent completing various boat chores, we allocated the afternoon to slightly more enjoyable activities, namely snorkeling and testing out One Love’s inflatable tube. While some of our guests have had the opportunity to ride on the tube, Rebecca and I had not. I am happy to say that we have now rectified that.
I’ve been reading your blog for a couple of years….you travel up and down the island chain but never stop at the big island in the USVI. Why? It is my favorite place.
Just curious, did you travel there by sailboat, Reggie? What makes it your favorite place and what are you comparing it to?
St. Croix is much like Barbados in that it is off the normal route of travel, although perhaps a bit less so. That said, we do intend to sail there at some point in the near future.

Looks amazing, I would hope to go on vacation some day there. The tubing looks fun too. I only got to go tubing once so far in my life and I guess I wouldn’t mind trying it again. I only got to do it once because I’m not a strong swimmers. The people I go tubing with, they would always try to make me flip and out of the tube. I would like to experience at a clear and beautiful water like in Virgin Island.
Our tube is pretty large and stable. The smaller ones are a lot easier to flip. Of course, we make sure even those who are good swimmers where PFDs on the tube.
