Wild horses
The wild horses of Shackleford Banks came out to visit on Saturday. They didn’t appear the least bit concerned that we were watching them from less than 10 feet away.

I am so jealous! I have wanted to see the horses of the barrier islands since I was a little girl and read Marguerite Henry’s books about them. And there you are, within 10 feet of them! Enjoy. Your pictures are, as usual, great.
