I shouldn’t really call yesterday a day off as Rebecca and I really were working throughout the morning. We had accounting reports that needed to be completed and an inventory had to be done. When we were through with that though, we were eager to complete a little more equipment R&D.

One of the other crewed catamarans in the BVI, Catsy, was in Cane Garden Bay the other day and we saw them pulling one of their guests(?) around on their paddle board. Of course we thought, if they could do that, why couldn’t we? As you can see from the pics below, it worked great. For the record, we are still 100% happy with our decision to purchase the Red brand inflatable SUPs. They really are perfect for our application.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake yesterday of writing about how calm Cane Garden Bay was and that obviously offended the weather Gods somewhat. When we returned from shore, after sharing dinner with some new friends Rob and Regina, we found that our mill pond had developed a nasty swell. That swell persisted through the night and is now such that I think we’ll be moving on a bit later this morning. We need to be in Roadtown tomorrow morning anyway so I suspect we’ll move ourselves closer to there.
