The canvas puzzle
Among the many other things that we need to learn about this boat, today, after bidding adieu to our new friends Dave and Jenny, we took an attempt at figuring out the usage and placement of the various bits of deck canvas that we found on board the boat. It was a bit of a puzzle but I think that, after some trial and error, we got the important parts sorted. We tested it out by, for the first time ever, leaving the boat with the hatches open and a dark grey cloud looming overhead. I only wish we had all this sorted for our guests when they were on board playing open-the-hatch, close-the-hatch in this past week’s squally weather.
Hi Mike,
Great to see the next chapter of your adventure coming to life. This is totally off topic but here goes. You and I had talked a few times on MSN messenger while you and Rebecca were on One Love. It doesn’t appear that you use that service any more. What is the best way to contact you now?…the “contact us” box on your web site’s like box does not appear to work for me.
Thanks
Chris Morrow
It seems like they had a good time. And things take time to figure out but u got it and it looks like they will work well. Sept. 3rd me and my lady friend are off to visit ur country montreal ca. for 5 days. It should be a fun will spend 2 days in montreal and drive around for the other 3 days. The boat looks great and i am sure u will have it shipshape to your standards in no time. 🙂
Make sure you enjoy some poutine while you’re in Montreal! 🙂
Please tell me that isn’t your new boat name!
Looking good!
🙂
No. That is the name as we purchased it. Our new name registration has not yet been completed. It is in the works.
