As I briefly made note of in yesterday’s post, we were gifted a brand new GoPro Hero3 by our friends Alan and Christina when they visited Grenada last month. Wasn’t that super nice of them? We sure think so! We really enjoy taking photos and videos and now that we’re back in the land of fast internet access, we’re looking forward to recording and uploading some new content.

To get us started, here are a couple of short videos that we put together with footage shot while on passage. The first video shows us landing the second of two Mahi Mahi that we caught using our new custom fishing gaff made by our friend Eric on Amarula. I understand that they’ll be commercially available for purchase soon.

The second video was pieced together with some clips that we shot while underway. As you can see, there wasn’t a lot of wind out there. We still had fun though!

  1. Judging from these first two videos captured and edited with your new camera and software, both you and your followers are sure to have lots of fun. Great job on each of these vignettes! Christina is most impressed with how easy you made it look bring the Mahi Mahi aboard 🙂

  2. Hi Mike & Rebecca,
Good to see you made safe passage up to the Virgins – enjoyed the hourly post!
We’ve done it, we’ve moved aboard Mowzer and are currently at Frenchtown in Charlotte Amalie. If you happen to find yourself down this way in the next couple of weeks make sure to pop over to the dock to say hi, have a cold one or whatever. Would be great to see you again.
