As I wrote yesterday, our goal was to find a calmer spot to drop our anchor. Our search took us a bit further than I had  initially planned though. While we had hoped that the lee side of Grenada would be absent of any swell, that turned out to not be the case.

With wind blowing from the southeast, we decided to ignore the dark clouds hanging over Grenada’s tall mountains, and point our boat north to Carriacou. As it turned out, it was a great decision. We had a fantastic day of sailing, and even though the boat got a fresh water rinse a time or two, it was a beautiful day on the water. We made it to Sandy Island, Carriacou just in time for sundowners, and this morning, took advantage of the great snorkeling that the marine park has to offer.
