Five days without a post. I can’t remember the last time that I’ve gone this long without posting something, even when we’ve been on charter or in some remote area with limited Wi-Fi! What’s my excuse? I really don’t have one, other than lack of energy. Believe it or not it does take me a fair amount of mental energy to post on this blog and there are times, this past week being an example of one, where I just don’t feel up to it. I know everyone understands this, which is cool, but I wanted to quickly touch base tonight to say that yes, Rebecca and I are still alive.

The last week with our friends on board did not kill us. They may have tried, dragging us to Foxy’s (TWICE!) and the Willie T (TWICE!), but we survived. Now, with them gone and our next charter opportunity not for several weeks, we’ll be back to work on our never-ending to-do list. We have boat chores, charter prep and marketing work, and other misc. tasks to address. While working our way through the lists we’ll do our best to a) have fun and b) post about said fun on this blog. Thanks for sticking around. 🙂

  1. Thanks for explaining. I do enjoy keeping up with your incredibly active lives and have often wondered how you have time for all you do AND are able to create such interesting, well written posts, with such frequency.

  2. Good to know that you’re still alive. I was beginning to worry.

  3. ZTC withdrawal is brutal!

    Glad you’re back.

  4. Honestly, I have no idea how you kept up with daily postings even prior to the charter. Having just purchased our boat, moving aboard, and starting the fix and refit process, I’m certainly struggling to make even semi-regular posts. The list of work is long and the days are short. The fact you can manage to post at all between charters, re-provisioning, boat maintenance, etc. is absolutely impressive to me. You are a blogging machine.

    Cheers,
