Passing through the Panama Canal is an activity that is on countless boater’s bucket lists. Thanks to Jason and Gail on Two Fish, our gracious hosts, we can now check that item off our list.

Passing through the Miraflores Lock, just before reaching the Pacific Ocean.
Two Fish is the starboard most boat in the second last row.

We’ve been working hard to figure out how we can keep our friends abreast of our Pacific Ocean adventures. While posting to the blog may not be possible in the middle of the ocean, we have figured out how to post to our Twitter account using a satellite device, and if you look to the right, you’ll see that I have embedded our Twitter feed on this site. Even though we won’t be able to see your replies, I hope that you’ll follow along, and comment here or our social media pages. Also, as I mentioned in the previous post, follow our friends on Two Fish. Using different devices, they are actually able to share photos and reports from our travels.
