Our house now has a couple of new piles of "stuff." We spent today sorting through our possessions for things that we will need to sell before adopting a water-based lifestyle. It's a pretty big pile! A much smaller pile has started to form which includes things that we can keep. I guarantee the first pile will continue to increase in size (at least until we actually sell these things). We met with our accountant yesterday to discuss our exit…

We just returned from a weekend away in Massachusetts. The 8 hour drive (each way) gave us plenty of time to talk and strategize. Plans are now progressing on all fronts:) The "learning to sale" issue is, as previously mentioned, the least of our concerns. We are investing a fair amount of time reading sailing theory. It seems to me that acquiring the money for our dream will be an even greater challenge than learning the skills to accomplish it (how to sail for starters). As we see it we will require money for 2 areas: Money to buy our sailboat (our new home) Money to live Being total newbies to sailing we really have no idea how "big" a 35' boat is (in actual living space, etc.) We are really looking forward to our trip…
