I’ve posted about so many serious subjects lately, here’s a lighter topic for a Saturday: our favorite cocktail. This drink was always a guest favorite on our charters, and in spite of what appears to be a large amount of alcohol, it goes down super easy. Too easy, in fact, for some people!

Mix up a batch and let me know what you think. Remember though, no drinking while underway, at least not the Captain and crew!

VI (Virgin Islands) Ice Tea, aka Jab Cross Hook

  • 1 oz. Bombay Saphire Gin
  • 1 oz. Cruzan Mango Rum
  • 1 oz. Sky Blood Orange Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz Sweet and Sour

Add ingredients to a tall glass filled with ice.

Top up the glass with Cranberry Juice.

Mix and Enjoy.

By the way, if you’d like some other options, check out my posts on the Painkiller, and the Frostbite. They are favorites of ours too!
