Not yet “excited”

With a closing date of April 24th it is now only 16 days until we will be out of our house. We have had various communications with the new owners and it is obvious that they are very excited to be able to move in. They are a great couple and although we are happy for them we don’t quite share their enthusiasm to be moving. Their goal is soon to be realized and yet ours is still months, and many steps away.

Several people have said to us “You must be getting excited!” At this point the answer is no, not really. We still have a lot of things to accomplish and we need to keep focused on what’s important today instead of what will be happening next year. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel though and are working our way towards it one step at a time.

Now, if we were planning ahead and dreaming, one of the places we would love to sail to is Brazil. Rebecca and I had our honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro in 2003. Because a big part of our lives is devoted to training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and we have many friends in Brazil, we would love to go back. Some day! 🙂
