Not the Hotel California
You can leave, and we have. Posted while underway towards St. Martin. As usual, the seas are bumpy and the wind is on the nose. Crew is happy though and that is what counts.
Passing Necker Island.

Uh, uh, uh……… Beware of that calendar. It bites!
“Be afraid, be very afraid”.
Word!
What no sails? Does two 54hp engines make tacking obsolete? With motor/sailing you would go even faster, if that is what is needed, and maybe have even more fun.

When was the last time you did this particular passage? It sucks. Always.
Mike,
Just wondering how you are getting along with your new diesel engines as opposed to your outboards on ZTC? Any thoughts yet on the differences? We have the same engine on Sweet Escape minus the sail drive configuration and it’s been good to us.
Well, they got us all the way to St. Martin! 🙂
The yanmar engines are reportedly excellent. I have a lot to learn but fortunately have friends with the same engines who are willing to teach me.
I think you have the 4JH4 the same as us. I love this motor!!! Its excellent! We also had one on our previous boat.
Yes, that is exactly what it is, Paul. Feel free to hate any secrets you have learned when we next meet up.
When we headed to St martin we visited St Croix first so that we could sail. But you probably have a time crunch.

Very much so
