Remember I wrote a post about how our snorkel gear is not just for play? Well, those nice Dyneema halyards that we won are now not just for work, if in fact you could really consider aiding the propulsion of a cruising sailboat to be work in the first place.

Today we’re hanging out at Union Island, anchored just behind the smaller Frigate Island which is adjacent to it. Our friends Kirk and Donna were here too but they just left on route to Carriacou. Rebecca and I aren’t quite ready to leave though as we have some unfinished business here. There are two mountains (large hills?) staring us right in the face, Mt. Taboi and Mt. Parnassus, just daring us to climb them. You just know that we have to do it!

  1. You plug your nose before you go into the water? What’s that all about? Just blow out and no water will get in! lol

  2. You held your nose???????? I can not believe how clear that water is…

  3. Well, I made it. A month of reading and I’m now caught up from the beginning. It’s nice to follow along and have somebody else figure out all the crap for you. 🙂 We’ve gleaned quite a bit if information from your travels and detailed commentary. Thanks for that!

Colorado is a thousand miles from any ocean, but we’ll be there in 3-4 years. Where “there” is, who knows, or cares.

  4. You deserve the static you are getting for plugging your nose.
