Sorry if I lead anyone to believe that the Leopard our friend is looking at was the damaged one in the pics yesterday. 😉 That boat just happened to be on the hard beside Serendipity. Fortunately, the boat we were checking out had no such damage. It does have the same bolt on keels though.

The pre-survey inspection, which I have come to realize is completed to prevent a would-be buyer from wasting money on plane tickets to come and view an unsuitable boat, went well. We had a good talk with the surveyor and he obviously has a lot of experience with Leopards. The real survey takes place on Thursday and we plan to be there for that too.

Today, we’ll be, once again, saying so long to our friends Kirk and Donna. We’ve been anchored beside them on Norman’s Island for the past 2 days but now we’re off to Trellis Bay to speak to a guy about our windsurfer. I’m sure we’ll cross paths with them again soon.

  1. Good to hear. I was asking but kind of assuming a little of both, since you had already mentioned the damaged boat. It always amazes me the people that take out these boats, and immediately wreck them! I had that happen to a buddies brand spanking new 42 FP back in 2000, and on the first charter! Have fun in Trellis!

  2. As usual, lovely pics thanks.

I see from Spot that you have been dashing about again. Seemingly going from Peter Island, to Norman Island to Trellis bay and possibly the Last Resort Restaurant, then hurtling off at high speed down to Salt Island. Following it on my Navionics charts makes it even more interesting.

    I am thoroughly jealous!!!! 🙂 🙂

Do you still remember when you were anxious about doing even one short trip. Well done both of you.

    Ahhhh. Cheers!

    Mike
