Good fortune is mine!
Nine years ago today Rebecca and I were married. The tiny elephant statue pictured below, which we were told is a good luck charm of sorts, was given to us by a friend. Although we had to leave most art objects and decorative items behind when we set sail, this totem, being so small, was easy to bring with us on our boat.
Has the elephant lived up to its reputation and brought us good luck? Well, I can’t speak for Rebecca but I’ve definitely been blessed with my share of good fortune, as evidenced by the fact that I’ve managed to hold on to my lovely wife through all of the past nine year’s ups and downs.
I love you, Baby, and pray that I will continue to be favored with such good fortune in the years to come! ❤❤❤

We didn’t do anything too crazy but we did walk all over Hog Island looking for a friend’s lost dog.
