Search “social media” and you will discover 100 or so different platforms, with about 20-25 being the most popular! How anyone keeps up with all of this is beyond me! For those of you who have been reading our blog for some time, you may have noticed that I have been posting, as of late, about once a week in the fitness section. Did you know, though, that my ‘fitspiration’ extends beyond this blog onto other social media sites?

Almost daily, I have been taking the dinghy to shore in the afternoon to either go for a run, and/or tackle another exercise session. During that time, I typically film a short workout or new combination exercise using our point and shoot camera. I later post that workout on Instagram. This post then gets shared to both my Facebook and Twitter accounts. Also, don’t forget about our Youtube channel where you can find many of my workout videos in the fitness playlist. So, if you’re looking for some more fitspiration, you have plenty of options!

Note: It is a bit of a process for me to post on Instagram (so much easier if you have a smartphone!) but I do my best each day. I know that I have a long way to go if I want to promote my fitness ideas but for now, these social media sites will have to do (after all, I’m not making any money out of it just yet!). I did create a Snapchat account but so far I have not posted anything on there as I am still not sure how to use it. I may have my daughter show me when we get to California as she uses it often!
