Counting the days
Regular readers of this blog will know that both Rebecca and I sold our business last November and after doing so, assumed the role of employees to assist the new owners with the transition. I completed my part in this at the end of February while Rebecca, being a bit more indispensable, has continued on at the gym. She is now nearing the end of her tenure there though. With the new staff fully trained, she has only 3 days left in the working world. After that, she’ll be free to be a boat bum on a daily basis as I have been doing. We both can’t wait!
Three days (I guess two now) – wow! We’re so envious. We can only imagine the feeling. Sounds like ya’ll have really been enjoying the boat the past few days – and plenty more to come!
It’s three including today. Friday is her last day. It sure does feel good knowing that we are only inches away from setting sail!

June 15 is also the due date of a friend of mine.
Hurrah! I wish I were going, too. I’m SOOOO glad that you two are almost on your way! Rebecca, I can recommend retirement. It’s great, even stuck ashore. ENJOY!!!!!!
