Batching It

It’s official… ZTC is now once again temporarily being single handed. Rebecca departed yesterday afternoon from Princess Juliana International Airport on route to visit our daughter Cass in California, leaving me alone with the boat. The last time one of us was left alone with the boat was when I flew to Trinidad to complete the STCW 95 course. What constructive things will I be able to find to do in her absence? I’m sure I’ll find a few things but Rebecca set the bar pretty high when I was away, getting plenty accomplished.

Hasta la vista, Baby

Don’t all rainbows end in California?

Note: Without Rebecca here to proof read my blog posts you may find a larger number of errors than usual. Feel free to point them out to me. :)

More time to fiddle with that windlass, eh? ;)

That’s the last thing I need.

I hear you. I do agree on NOT getting another of the same windlass. Hopefully St. Lucia has better “in transit” practices than other islands. Fedex and DHL are your friend when it comes to knowing the proper procedures.

Would that be the pole dancing bar that you discovered last night?

You’re sharing Facebook secrets that the blog readers aren’t privy too! :)

And no, it’s actually just a normal bar here in a marina called the Soggy Dollar (not to be confused with the bar of the same name on Jost Van Dyke).

      Hi JC

Thanks for the nice comment. I’m glad you feel it is family appropriate. We have others who feel that it might, at times, be too risque. :)

      Merry Christmas to you too.

Man have I missed my daily dose of ZTC during my absence from blogs and life in general! Looking forward to catching up on all the posts I’ve missed. Chris

I think the rainbow ends in a big bowl of Skittles. Have you sailed the boat singlehandedly yet?
