a dance pole?
Yes, you read that right, a dance pole! You see, in addition to her career as martial arts and fitness coach, Rebecca is a pole dancing instructor. For the last couple of years she has offered lessons through her home based studio North Pole Fitness. So, while most sane people list as necessities for their boat such things as watermakers and stand-up showers, we need to figure out how to mount a dance pole on our yet-to-be purchased catamaran. Does such a thing exist on boats? You bet it does!
If we don’t work out some method for installing a pole on our boat it’s guaranteed that Rebecca will be paying a visit to every school-yard playground that we come across!
Before anyone mentions it, we are aware that there tends to be at least one very BIG pole in the middle of every sailboat. We just don’t think that one will work quite the same way. 🙂
Greatness, my wife is demanding that I have some kind of rigging for her silk aerial work to be done on the boat. She is stoked about that idea
I never did see a boat with a legit dance pole but we came across several people who did aerial silks on their boats.
