The amount of web links I am accumulating is crazy! Boat manufactures, web forums, Blogs, suppliers… the list goes on and on.

I now have an entire folder of links containing web pages of things I think would be cool/helpful to have on the boat. Today, as I was making breakfast, my Magic Bullet blender was staring at me. Thinking that this would be great to have on the boat I decided to do a web search to see if there was a DC-powered version of it. What did I find? Something perhaps even better: A hand-crank powered blender! As every Watt of electricity on a boat needs to be generated, either by running the engine or by solar/wind, energy conservation has to be a priority. I think we’ll be checking the Vortex Hand Crank Blender out!

This is what the manufacturer has to say about the blender:

“Increase your popularity. Make new friends. Pick up ladies. These are just a few of the hidden benefits of owning our hand-cranked blender. This amazing little unit is an outdoor party in the making.” 🙂

Mmmmmm… Strawberry Daiquiris!

  1. I would like to know if you did buy the blender and your review, please.

    Cheers, Lenka

    • Hi Lenka

No, we did not buy that one. Although it runs on 120 VAC we kept our Magic Bullet and use it the odd time we want to blend something up.
